Why do people say to proposals neither yes nor no
Why do they let their lovers hope, in absence of a clear no
Its when they are themselves waiting for someone they are hopeful for
Whom they want a proposal from or a yes an answer for
But they are not true in their waiting so
They keep you as a second or so
